Grading Policy
How grades are determined:
50% Tests & Projects
30% Quizzes
20% Classwork & Homework
The grades in each category will be averaged. Next, the average will be multiplied by the percentage in decimal form (50% @.5, 30%@ .3, and 20% @.2). The sum of your points from each category will be your grade. Please refer to the example provided for you. If you have further questions please see me.
Tests/Projects Average = 91
91 x .5=45.5
Quiz Average = 100
100 x .3= 30
Classswork/Homework Average = 87
87 x .2= 17.4
Your Grade: 45.5 + 30 + 17.4 = 92.9 (round to 93)
